You could forgive the Dallas Cowboys for simply shrinking today after Dak Prescott’s injury and losing to the Giants.
The excuses were already written and nobody would blame them if they were nervous or unsettled after seeing the injury.
Instead they managed to rise up in the final stages of the game to snatch the victory, and it owed everything to a simply fantastic catch from Michael Gallup to tee up the winning field goal:
It was almost ruined after Greg Zuerlein’s effort looked like it was going to miss, but it came back at the last moment to sneak through the uprights.
The win will be dedicated to Dak and rightfully so, but this team showed there is still some hope for the season – especially when you consider how the poor the division is.
